Zion City Church was born out of a deep desire to see God's kingdom to come here on Earth as it is in Heaven. We believe that as followers of Jesus we can see lives changed through the good news about Jesus. We want to see every human being walk in their redemptive potential.
Sunday Gatherings are the primary way we gather as a church to worship together, learn the Scriptures, pray for one another, and create space to hear from the Spirit.

The Board of Directors at Zion City Church is the governing body responsible for stewarding the business operations and legal integrity of our 501(c)(3) organization. Board members partner with the elders to provide oversight in key areas such as finance and compensation, human resources, legal compliance, and strategic planning for the future. Baptism
Water baptism is one of a handful of practices Jesus specifically gave to his followers. Since day one of the Church, this is how human beings step into the kingdom of God. Baptism involves verbal confession of trust in Jesus as well as whole-body testimony before Jesus' community. As you go under the water, you declare your old life has been buried with Christ. As you come up out of the water, you declare Jesus gives you new life through God's own Spirit. In this way, followers of Jesus confess he is the one true God-man who came to save us from corruption, abuse, brokenness and all that sin has ruined in our world. And one day, he will resurrect our bodies into life forever with him in the New Heavens and New Earth.
